*BuzzFeed is now showcasing your childhood toys as ancient artifacts.
*You don’t worry about how you are going to spend your allowance money, you worry about how you are going to pay all your bills.
*Your conversations at dinner with friends circle around wedding details and health insurance coverage. And you love those conversations.
*Instead of MTV and the WB, your most visited TV channels are TLC and HGTV.
*You still remember when it was the WB.
*You have a game plan for getting through Market Basket on a Saturday.
*When traveling with a group, you ensure you have a bed somewhere as sleeping on the floor is now completely unacceptable.
*You choose to spend your money on home furnishings.
*You go to see the newest pre-teen movie phenomenon (^^^^) and you are closer in age to the parents who brought their pre-teens than the pre-teens themselves.
*You use to fantasize about what your adult life would be, now you are living it and is not QUITE what you had imagined (For instance, I didn’t think I would have to go to college because I would have been “discovered” as Hollywood’s next big thing, WAY before that).
With all that being said, I wouldn’t go back to being a teenager if you paid me. The sheer emotional trauma that you go through in high school is enough to make me love every day of adulthood. He loves me….he loves me NOT!? WHAT!?
