Last night, we had our monthly book club party meeting. I always look forward to these gatherings because it allows us ladies to get together and dish on all the things going on in our lives. Two of the book club members are getting married in the coming months so alot of the discussion veers off into wedding land with pit stops in help-im-looking-for-an-apartment and omg-this-is-so-good-what-is-this-what-am-i-eating.
Book club + red wine = I’M SO TIRED. My eyeballs are trying to vacate my face. How am I going to make it to 5:30pm when I get to bust outta this work joint!?
I am just going to have to focus on all the good that this weekend has to offer.
First off, I am spending a lot of tomorrow during the day putting together bridal shower favors like the bridal shower favor goddess that I am (tooting the ol hornaroo).
Tomorrow night, I am joining my best friends/band friends on stage to sing some songs and help them close out their set at Copperfield’s bar in the Fenway area. So that should be a rootin’ tootin’ good time!
That good time will probably lead to an awfully unproductive Sunday. We went to Southie for the WORLD FAMOUS (I made that up) St. Patrick’s Day Parade last year, but I am not sure we are going to do that this year. We are getting old. Sigh. BUT, if I do happen to make it out that way, I am really praying I come across something like this.
I hope you all have a wonderfully Irish weekend, and before I go, I want to send out an extra special Happy St. Patrick’s Day to my favorite Irish lady!

It takes me like 4.5 days to recover after a night out. I’m freakin old. How the heck did we do it in college 2-3 nights a week? Hope your weekend was grand!! Oh and check your email!
I didn’t even celebrate St. Paddy’s Day with all my fellow Bostonians and I was still tempted to call in sick. Oh, and Best. Email. Ever.
Love you too sweetie! And remember…….. May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Thanks Mamala
